On July 20, in Enshi, Hubei Province, tourists visiting the Shiziguan (Lion Pass) Scenic Area captured footage of a convoy of vehicles driving across a floating bridge over water. In the video, cars move along the bridge as it begins to undulate like waves, creating a thrilling and exhilarating scene.

The floating bridge at Shiziguan is 400 metres long and 4.5 metres wide, capable of supporting up to 10,000 people walking on it at once. With its unique design and picturesque surroundings, it has become a popular online destination, drawing large numbers of tourists.

The bridge previously raised safety concerns. On May 16, 2023, a minivan fell off the bridge into the water, resulting in the deaths of five people. Following the accident, the scenic area suspended operations for safety improvements.

After undergoing renovations and safety upgrades, the Shiziguan Tourist Area reopened on December 28, 2024. The floating bridge is once again open to the public, allowing visitors to enjoy the thrill of crossing the waterborne structure.
