US, Los Angeles: Pacoima Pedestrian And Dog Struck And Killed By Hit-And-Run Driver

Los Angeles, United States - August 05, 2025 08/04/2025 08:14 pm GMT-0700 PACOIMA, LOS ANGELES, Calif. – The Los Angeles Police Department's Foothill Division and the Los Angeles Fire Department responded to a report of a vehicle hitting a pedestrian. Upon arrival, officers found the pedestrian unresponsive and not breathing in the middle of Osborne Street. Nearby, a deceased dog was also located in the street. Paramedics declared the pedestrian deceased at the scene. The investigation into the incident has prompted the LAPD's Valley Traffic Division to be called in for further inquiry. In the meantime, Osborne Street was closed between Laurel Canyon Boulevard and Haddon Avenue as officers conducted their investigation.
