Ground truck catches fire next to United Airlines plane
A ground truck caught fire next to a United Airlines plane.
Footage captured by Luke Berndt shows smoke rising from the blaze that broke out on the Dulles International Airport ramp in Virginia on Saturday, August 9.
Fire and rescue personnel from the airport authority responded quickly, working to contain the flames while airport operations continued in the surrounding area.
Several United Airlines aircraft were visible nearby during the incident.
Luke said: 'Looks like a truck caught on fire out on the ramp at Dulles.'
Officials said the fire was swiftly extinguished near Gate C5 at approximately 3:45 pm local time.
No injuries were reported, and there was no damage to nearby vehicles or aircraft.
