OKINAWA, Japan – Marines with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 265, Marine Aircraft Group 36, returned home this week to Marine Corps Air Station Futenma aboard MV-22B Ospreys.

The Marines reunited with their families following a two-month deployment aboard the USS America. The deployment supported training and operational missions in the region, highlighting the squadron’s role in providing rapid assault support and enhancing the readiness of the 1st Marine Aircraft Wing.

The arrival was marked by emotional reunions on the flight line as Marines stepped off the aircraft and into the arms of waiting family members. The return underscored the resilience of military families and the commitment of service members who deploy around the world in support of U.S. operations.
