Los Angeles, United States - August 21, 2025 08/21/2025 03:32 am GMT-0700 SOUTH PARK, LOS ANGELES, Calif. – Los Angeles Police Department Central officers began a pursuit of a suspected stolen vehicle overnight. The suspect fled south on the 110 Freeway, ultimately crashing at Martin Luther King Boulevard in the early morning hours of Thursday. Officers reported that the suspect may have been ejected from the vehicle during the collision. Following the crash, the suspect fought with officers in the middle of the active freeway. Additional units arrived to assist, and they successfully took the man into custody. He sustained two lacerations to his head and was subsequently transported by the Los Angeles Fire Department to an area hospital for treatment. The suspect was driving a Cadillac SUV, and the southbound lanes of the 110 Freeway will remain closed at Martin Luther King Boulevard until further notice.
