Bakersfield, United States - August 24, 2025 08/24/2025 01:22 am GMT-0700 BAKERSFIELD, Calif. – An investigation is underway after a crash left one woman dead and two others seriously injured early Sunday morning near Panama Lane and Stine Road. The collision was reported just before 1:30 a.m. Initial reports said the woman who died was ejected from a vehicle. Two other victims suffered major injuries, with at least one person pinned inside a car before being freed by emergency crews. Both were transported from the scene. Debris was scattered across the intersection, and both vehicles involved sustained heavy damage before being towed. The Bakersfield Police Department and Bakersfield Fire Department responded.
