This is the moment a suspect is arrested over the murder of a British woman in a love triangle in Cambodia.

Footage shows cuffed Congolese national Kidikila Nganda Glodie, 33, being dragged by police out of a salon some 1.5 miles from the scene of the alleged murder in Phnom Penh.

The deceased, Jessica Cariad Hopkins, 34, was found on Friday evening with her throat slit at a park in the Chamkarmon district. She was reportedly renting a house in the city before her death.

Police Commissioner Chuon Narin said preliminary investigations suggest the motive may have been jealousy over a love triangle.

Witnesses claimed Jessica was seen arguing with a man shortly before she was found lying in a pool of her blood.

Jessica's friend Sophors Chheoun paid tribute to her.

She said: 'I am heartbroken to lose my lovely neighbor and dear friend Jessica Cariad Hopkins. She was such a caring person, always there for me and my family, helping in ways big and small. Her kindness, her smile, and her generous heart meant so much to me.'

The Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office said: 'We are supporting the family of a British woman who has died in Cambodia and are in contact with the local authorities.'
