This is the shocking moment a naked woman ran through traffic sparking alarm among drivers in Thailand.

Dashcam footage shows the half-nude local, her breasts in full view of the public, charging at oncoming cars along a road in depraved resort town Pattaya, on Monday evening.

Shocked motorists called the local station fearing she would be struck by a vehicle.

Officers arrived at the Pattaya North Motorway Intersection, where they found the topless lady, aged around 35 to 40, running in circles. They dragged her to the pavement and covered her with white cloth as she rambled incoherently.

A rescue volunteer said: 'It took a while before we were able to calm her down. She was transported to Pattaya Bhattamakun Hospital for a physical and mental health check-up.'

Police said they were investigating the cause of the incident.

In May, a naked Russian tourist was detained in Pattaya after escaping from a hospital.

He rampaged through the streets unclothed, vandalising property before clashing with police. The drunk holidaymaker injured his head during the arrest and was later taken back to hospital for treatment.
