A beach house was seen collapsing into the water as heavy rain and floods killed at least six people in Bali.

Footage shows the concrete property tilting and crashing after its foundation was eroded by waves in Indonesia on September 10.

Residents were evacuated and no one was injured. Neighbours watched as the structure gave way beside Kelecung Beach.

It came as the holiday island suffered severe flooding, causing chaos for tourists.

Earlier in the day, a three-storey home collapsed along the banks of the Badung River. At least three residents - a mother and her children - were reported missing following the incident.

In another part of the island, a woman was swept away by strong currents after falling from her motorcycle while attempting to cross a flooded road with her husband in Jembrana Regency.

In nearby Negara City, a hotel was inundated, forcing guests to evacuate to safer ground.

Reports said the intense downpour began on Tuesday morning, lashing the island and triggering floods in several villages across the region.
