This is the shocking moment a roof was blown off a family home following an LPG cylinder explosion in India.

Footage shows residents standing just a few metres away from the house when a sudden blast shook the area in Mutrajpally Village, Medak district, Telangana.

Reports said no one was inside the residence when the incident occurred on September 8, around 12:11 pm local time.

The impact caused parts of the exterior to collapse, sending debris flying towards nearby locals.

Authorities confirmed no injuries and advised residents to stay clear of the damaged structure and take necessary precautions.

They also urged the community to regularly check LPG cylinders and connections for leaks, ensure proper ventilation when using gas appliances, and follow safety guidelines to prevent similar incidents.
