Los Angeles, United States - September 20, 2025 09/20/2025 01:51 pm GMT-0700 PACOIMA, LOS ANGELES, Calif. – A fast-moving fire in Pacoima destroyed a recreational vehicle (RV) and downed power lines before spreading to a nearby home this afternoon. The blaze was reported just before 2 p.m. in the 9700 block of Telfair Avenue, west of San Fernando Road. Los Angeles Fire Department crews arrived to find the RV fully engulfed, with flames igniting overhead power lines and spreading to part of a residence. Firefighters raced to halt the fire’s advance as the RV’s black tank ruptured, sending gallons of raw sewage flowing through neighborhood streets. The incident remained active as of 2:45 p.m., with crews working to fully contain the flames and assess the extent of the damage. No immediate word was available on injuries or the cause of the fire.
