An earthquake jolted a street food stall, leaving customers baffled in Venezuela.

CCTV footage shows food vendor Mayorlys Guerra preparing snacks for her customers when a magnitude 6.2 tremor struck Maracaibo, Zulia, on September 24, at 6:22 pm local time.

Local media reported that the quake caused property damage to homes, prompting people to gather in open spaces to avoid being struck by falling debris.

Authorities urged citizens to remain calm, inspect their homes for damage, and stay alert for possible aftershocks.

The earthquake was also felt in Colombian cities, including Cucuta, Bucaramanga, and Medellin.

No deaths or injuries have been confirmed so far, though power outages and cracks in buildings have been reported.

The epicentre was located 4 km North East of the Mene Grande region of Venezuela, at a depth of 7.8 km.
