A private executive jet caused a major scare at Formosa Airport (SWFR), in Goiás, on the morning of October 2. Around 8 a.m., a dog ran onto the runway during landing, forcing the aircraft to brake sharply after touching down.

The moment was recorded in a video from the cockpit and shows the animal running ahead of the jet, which was already decelerating. The tense reaction of one of the startled pilots can be heard: “The dog! Animal! Oh no, what cruelty, man, for God’s sake!”

The aircraft was piloted by Patrick D’Angelo, with William de Melo as co-pilot. Fortunately, the pilots managed to stop in time, and the incident ended only in a scare, with no injuries to the animal or damage to the aircraft.
