This is the shocking moment a repairman stumbled on a roof while carrying an air conditioning unit on his shoulder.

Ahmad Fadjrul Setiawan was transporting the appliance to position it on top of a house when he stepped onto the roof tiles and lost his balance in Bekasi City, Indonesia.

Footage shows the technician, without any safety gear, carefully inching across a narrow space towards his colleague on August 27.

He can be seen struggling to move while holding onto the vent with one hand and using his other leg to steady the weight of the machine.

However, as Ahmad took another step, the tiles gave way beneath him.

His leg plunged into the hole, causing him to drop the unit from his shoulder.

This prompted his colleague to rush over and help him out, preventing the machine from sliding off the roof.

Ahmad said: ‘We managed to place the vent properly on the roof, but we had to fix the roof tiles afterwards. It ended up being a lot of work.'
