This footage reportedly shows a Russian sniper team using advanced reconnaissance technology to aim and fire at Ukrainian soldiers on the frontline.

The operation reportedly took place in Ukraine, with footage released by the Russian Ministry of Defence on Thursday, November 6.

According to the Russian MoD, a sniper pair from the 96th Separate Reconnaissance Brigade of the 1st Guards Tank Army, part of the ‘West' group of forces, carried out what it described as a 'highly effective operation' in the special military operation zone.

Using modern optical, electronic, and radar systems, they maintained round-the-clock surveillance of Ukrainian positions and obtained what the MoD called 'valuable intelligence data.'

The report said the Russian snipers detected and destroyed several Ukrainian fighters attempting to rotate, while also identifying the location of heavy equipment and artillery.

The Ministry added that the reconnaissance team recorded and transmitted the coordinates of Ukrainian positions in real time, integrating the information with data from unmanned aerial systems to provide a comprehensive picture of the battlefield.
