Storyline: Hong Kong sports fans cheered on their home handball team for their endurance of never giving up even after the players lost a fierce match to the Beijing team on Monday at the ongoing 15th National Games in the zone of the special administrative region. The men's handball match held at Hong Kong's Kai Tak Sports Park witnessed the intense competition where the Beijing team secured the third-place position by defeating the Hong Kong team. The match marked the Hong Kong team's first-ever entry into the National Games handball semifinals despite the loss. The Jiangsu team defeated the Anhui team in the final to claim the championship, achieving a historic fifth consecutive win at the National Games. The handball fans at the stadium cheered for the competing teams' spirit and Hong Kong audience said though their home team failed to win a medal, they were still awed by their incredible fighting spirit. "This isn't my first time watching the Hong Kong team compete, but the atmosphere still thrilled me. I came to the stadium to watch the competition and I really want to see them win," said Lam Gal-kei, an audience member from Hong Kong. Hong Kong is one of the three hosts of China's 15th National Games, along with Guangdong Province and the Macao Special Administrative Region.
