This footage reportedly shows a Russian Molniya-2 strike drone destroying a Ukrainian UAV control point.

The alleged strike took place on the right bank of the Dnipro in Kherson Oblast, Ukraine, on November 17.

The Russian Ministry of Defence (MoD) said an earlier reconnaissance drone operator had identified a group of Ukrainian soldiers walking between damaged structures and then tracked them before passing the coordinates to a strike unit.

Footage shows the drone targeting moving soldiers and then cuts to another scene showing the device exploding between building ruins.

The ministry says the Molniya-2 took off after preparations were completed.

Its operator, with the callsign Kazak, reportedly hit the designated target on the right bank using an anti-tank mine.

Authorities stated that the strike destroyed a functioning Ukrainian UAV control point with its personnel.

Kazak is quoted as saying that the Molniya-2 is an FPV drone and explains that the operator sees the flight through goggles and assesses the target directly in real time.

Russia invaded Ukraine on February 24, 2022, in what the Kremlin is still calling a 'special military operation'.
