Footage reportedly shows a Russian FPV drone shooting down Ukrainian drones in mid-air using improvised nets during a battle over the city of Pokrovsk.

The video, shared on November 20, appears to show the unmanned aerial vehicle flying at speed towards Ukrainian FPV drones before knocking them out of the sky.

It shows the device carrying and deploying makeshift nets that entangle the Ukrainian drones during the encounter.

Local reports indicated that fighters from the 30th Anti-Tank Brigade were clearing the airspace above the area, reportedly bringing down around 30 Ukrainian drones in a single day.

Surviving devices were then reportedly collected by Russian personnel and repurposed for operational use.

The footage appears to show a drone referred to as the ‘Sky Predator' moving directly towards its targets during the interceptions.

Russian reports stated that troops were also using anti-drone nets made by the soldiers themselves.

Russia invaded Ukraine on February 24, 2022, in what the Kremlin is still calling a 'special military operation'.
