Footage reportedly shows a Russian Mi-28NM helicopter launching a missile strike on what Russia described as a Ukrainian UAV control centre.

The incident was reported by the Russian Ministry of Defence, with the footage said to have been filmed in Ukraine and released on November 21.

Russia said its aircrew received coordinates for the location of a Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicle control point before taking off.

The video appears to show the helicopter firing a light multipurpose guided missile at the target.

Russian military intelligence reported that the target was struck.

The crew returned to base after completing the mission, the Russian Ministry of Defence's Department of Information and Mass Communications said.

Russia invaded Ukraine on February 24, 2022, in what the Kremlin is still calling a 'special military operation'.
