1. VARIOUS OF BUSES PARKED ON MAIN STREETS OF PRISTINA / HEAVY TRAFFIC DUE TO PROTESTS PRISTINA, KOSOVO - NOV. 26, 2025: Public and private city bus operators in Kosovo’s capital continued their protest on Wednesday, Nov. 26, by parking their vehicles along major roads in central Pristina, after suspending all services on Nov. 24 over unpaid fees.

Trafiku Urban, the city’s main public transport company, cited financial difficulties and fuel shortages as reasons for the halt of all routes until payments are made. Similar suspensions were reported by private bus operators.

Kosovo faces ongoing political turmoil as it prepares for early general elections on December 28, following failure to form a new government after the February 9 vote.

The municipal budget for 2025 remains unapproved in parliament, blocking financial support to city services.
