Los Angeles, United States - November 20, 2025 11/20/2025 03:30 am GMT-0800 ALHAMBRA, Calif. – A major traffic collision involving Alhambra police officers early Thursday morning left four people in critical condition, including a police officer who was reported to be not breathing when first responders arrived. The crash occurred around 3:10 a.m. at the intersection of Valley Boulevard and Edgewood Drive. The collision involved a police vehicle and a civilian vehicle, though the circumstances leading up to the crash were not immediately available. According to emergency personnel, one passenger in the civilian vehicle became trapped in the wreckage and required extrication. Firefighters established a Mass Casualty Incident (MCI) response due to the number and severity of injuries. The officer involved was found unresponsive at the scene. All four critically injured patients were transported to local hospitals. Authorities have not released the identities of those involved, and the cause of the crash remains under investigation.
