US, Los Angeles: Whittier Carjacking Pursuit
Los Angeles, United States - November 30, 2025 11/29/2025 06:00 pm GMT-0800 WHITTIER, Calif. – Whittier police officers were involved in a pursuit Saturday evening after two carjacking suspects fled from a vehicle following a lengthy chase across multiple freeways. The chase began earlier in the evening when the driver entered the southbound 605 Freeway from local Whittier surface streets around 6 p.m., moving without headlights as a Whittier Police Department unit followed closely behind. The vehicle then switched to the westbound 105 Freeway, weaving through traffic. The pursuit came to an end at a dead-end on Danbrook Drive, near the 14600 block in Whittier. The suspect stopped the vehicle and fled on foot. Officers conducted a search of the area following the foot pursuit.
