Makeshift bridge breaks sending husband falling into floodwater
This is the amusing moment a makeshift bridge broke, sending a husband falling into floodwater.
Tle Khemmathat, 30, and his wife had just returned from a laundrette when the man crossing the wooden platform missed his step and plunged into the waist-deep, filthy water in Ang Thong, Thailand.
CCTV footage shows the couple walking across the bridge when Tle stepped on an unsecured panel, causing him to lose his balance on November 9.
The lad slid into the water with a blue basket carrying his clean laundry, falling into the waterway.
He immediately climbed up and handed his phone to his partner before removing the container and his clothes from the floodwater.
Tle said he sustained bruises in the incident.
