US, Los Angeles: Pomona Car Fire On Eastbound 10 Freeway
Los Angeles, United States - January 12, 2026 01/11/2026 10:46 pm GMT-0800 POMONA, Calif. – California Highway Patrol (CHP) and Los Angeles County Fire Department (LACoFD) responded to multiple 911 calls reporting a car fire on the eastbound 10 Freeway at Fairplex Drive in Pomona. Upon arrival, emergency personnel found the vehicle fully engulfed in flames on the right shoulder of the freeway. Firefighters extinguished the fire within 10 to 15 minutes of being dispatched. The driver exited the vehicle safely. CHP closed the two right lanes for approximately 30 minutes to manage the incident.
