Shocking footage has emerged from China of a runaway driver dragging a policeman along the road on the bonnet of his car to avoid being inspected at a checkpoint.

The CCTV video, filmed in Qingdao, Shandong Province last Saturday, shows the car suddenly speeding up and driving off, leaving the office stuck on the bonnet.

The driver eventually stopped because the policeman didn't let go.

He and his girlfriend, who was in the passenger seat, were later arrested.

Both were banned from driving, fined and briefly detained in custody.

Shocking footage has emergd from China of an unlicensed car refusing to be checked dragging a police officer on the hood for one hundred metres.

The CCTV video, filmed in Qingdao, Shandong Province last Saturday, shows the car suddenly speeding up dragging a police officer on the hood when he is trying to stop it.

Since the car driver Mr Li couldn't throw the police officer away, he stopped his car after dragging the police for more than a hundred metres and tried to run away.

Li asked his girlfriend to drive the car away after he got off.

Finally, Li and his girlfriend were arrested.

He would be detained by police for ten days, fined 20 GBP and deducted 12 points.

Whilst, his girlfriend was also faced to be fined 20 GBP and deducted 12 points.
