The National Disaster Response Force (NDRF) in northern India's Uttar Pradesh extended a helping hand to neighbouring country Nepal, which was hit by a devastating earthquake a few days ago.

The relief items were sent from Varanasi on November 5.

Visuals showed the NDRF officials loading the relief items from a truck into an aircraft. Trucks containing these relief items left the NDRF headquarters in Varanasi and later, all these materials, which were parked in boxes, were stacked and put inside the aircraft. The aircraft then flew from Corps Headquarters, Gautam Buddha Bhavan Chowkaghat to Babatpur Airport.

As per a report, three trucks of relief items were sent to Nepal. Additionally, a team is prepared and set to leave for Nepal in case any assistance is needed. Workers of the NDRF under the leadership of Second Commanding Officer Shri Amit Kumar Singh did their job pretty well.

Nepal has been hit hard with a 6.4 magnitude earthquake which has led to the loss of hundreds of lives, leaving many others injured.
