A quick-thinking bus driver heroically stopped a runaway car with his body in northern China.

The video was filmed in the city of Handan in Hebei Province on April 2.

A parked car began to dangerously roll back towards a busy road during rush hour. A bus driver He Jianzhi, witnessing the car's uncontrollable descent, immediately brought his bus to a stop and dashed towards the runaway vehicle.

The incident occurred at a time when the road was bustling with traffic, leading many drivers to swerve away to avoid a collision.

He Jianzhi, after catching up with the car, placed himself behind it and used his body to stop the car, fighting against its momentum to bring it to a standstill.

Once he was sure the vehicle was secure, he returned to his bus. It was later discovered that the car's driver had forgotten to engage the handbrake when exiting the vehicle, miraculously resulting in no injuries.

Reflecting on the ordeal, He said, "I saw the car sliding backwards and noticed there was no one at the wheel. With so many cars and pedestrians around during rush hour, I only had one thought: stop that car immediately."

何建智说：“我看到这车往后溜，往车上一看没驾驶员，车上没人。当时晚高峰路上的车和行人很多，脑子里只有一个念头
就是赶紧把车停下。”
