圆明园12兽首原图复制品展出
为重现当年圆明园兽首风采，传承中华传统文化，2月6日上午10时，江苏淮安举行圆明园兽首复制品展。
12生肖兽首是18世纪中期意大利设计师郎世宁为乾隆皇帝建造圆明园时主持设计的，由法国人蒋友仁设计监修。当时建成后的十二生肖铜像放在圆明园西洋楼海晏堂前的扇形喷水池边，每隔一个时辰就会有一个铜像自动喷水报时，是一座设计精妙的水力时钟。铜像为精炼红铜，能够历经百年而不锈蚀。十二生肖铜像是展示中西方文化交融的艺术珍品，在国际上具有极高艺术价值和鉴赏价值。第二次鸦片战争中，十二个兽首国宝流失海外150多年，成为中国文物流失一个缩影。
此次展出的兽首复制品也很不简单，是根据当年郎世宁设计原图、用当时的工艺进行原汁原味的重现，全世界只有不到5套。虽然是复制品但铜像铸工精整，表面还以精细的錾工刻划，展现出极高工艺水准。体现中西艺术的融合。
