Evacuate wasps and nest by fogging
Members of the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) of Bukittinggi city evacuated the wasps nesting in the lower corner of the dome of masjid of Dental Academy (AKG), West Sumatra, on Monday, October 9, 2017, by fumigation.
The AKG staff said the wasps were nesting there for almost two months, but no one dared to disturb the wasps. Moreover, one of the guards stalls not far from the wasp nest had been attacked and stung by a herd of wasps.
PMI personnel managed to evacuate the wasps in approximately one hour. Wasps were taken to a forest area outside the city far from the settlement.
