3月10日21时许，信阳高速交警支队八大队民警李长俊、辅警刘凯巡逻至淮息固高速淮滨收费站下道口时，匝道上一个约六七岁的儿童突然闯入民警视线，只见他骑着儿童单车逆行在下行匝道上，差点被一辆快速驶来的车辆撞上，情况危急！民警立即把警车停到一旁，快步跑到孩子身边，迅速把他抱进警车里，带下高速。可当回到队里，民警想要进一步了解他的家庭情况，帮他找父母的时候，却犯了难。面对蜀黍们的耐心询问，男孩始终不开口，身上也没有任何能表明他身份的有效信息，寻找一时陷入僵局。 民警通过核查近期走失儿童的报警，同时通过社会上发布儿童走失信息的平台查询。经过多方努力，终于联系上孩子家人。此时距离男孩走失已有6个多小时，孩子从县城的家中一路骑行了约10公里。据了解，男孩实际年龄为6岁，患有自闭症，语言迟钝，当日下午16时左右从家中出走，父亲身患疾病行动不便，担惊受怕的母亲为了寻找他，已经累得走不动路。
