Villagers hanged a 20ft long python upside down and try to relieve its indigestion - after it ate a WILD BOAR.

The deadly constrictor was found slumped on the ground near a settlement in Lahat, Indonesia.. Curious locals feared it had eaten a child or farm animal and strung it up from the first floor of a wooden hut to try to extract the contents.

With the outline of the boars legs and its body visible, one onlooker is heard saying ‘’there is a head, will you come out now?’'

Villagers eventually left the python to regurgitate its meal naturally and several hours later a partially wild boar came out.

Nipson, who lives in the Tanjung Kaurung Ilir village where the python was found, said: ‘’The snake has been released again. If the snake had been let alone it would have been hurting.Although frightening the residents agreed to release the snake and want it to live freely again.The capture of the python was due to curiosity of the contents of the stomach. People were afraid of what might have been inside so citizens tried to remove it, and later we found it was a boar.If the snake was not captured and the contents removed, it addition to worrying citizens about the danger, the snake was also at risk of dying.’'

The python was measured and found to be around six metres long, almost 20ft. It was latter released back into forest and villagers said they ‘’hope it doesn't return.’'
