Thai punk band arrested after insulting PM and calling for democracy
This was the bizarre moment a Thai punk band were detained by police after insulting the country's prime minister and calling for democracy.
Blood Soaked Street of Social Decay was performing at a pro-democracy rally in Bangkok, Thailand, when the singer repeatedly chanted ''Prayuth, you f**k. Prayuth, you d**k'' – a jibe at the country's military government leader Prayuth Chanocha.
The lyrics are part of their most popular number, ''b***ard government''.
Cops descended on the performance and took the band to the station before releasing them after realising the men had not committed a crime.
The clip was filmed on May 12.
