Daring tree-top rescue of bird of prey in south Indian city takes 90 minutes
About 90 minutes was anxious for people gathered on Rest House Crescent, off MG Road in Bengaluru on November 22 afternoon . At a height of about 60 feet, a black kite wing got entangled with a Chinese manja (an abrasive string) that stuck across tress there.Bird was not able to get rid of it , the more it was trying to get free the more it got messy , some people there worried about bird life tried to save her but in vain.so climbed to nearby building and tried to get their hand through bird and thread but it was out of reach . Some bystanders there informed fire brigade team . Rescue van rushed to spot . The firemen had to try really hard reaching the bird as it was at least 10 ft away from a tree that was closest to . Al last there was smile on everyone face as the bird was safely rescued
