Police constable in northern India saves life of pigeon stuck in kite string
A police constable in northern India's Rajasthan saved the life of a pigeon after the bird got stuck in a kite string.
The incident happened in Jaipur on March 22.
Visuals showed the cop standing on top of a vehicle and getting hold of the trapped bird. He held the trapped bird and started to detangle the wire that it had got stuck in.
Identified as Mahipal Singh, the cop freed the bird from the wire after it was spotted hanging 20 feet above the ground. He then handed over the pigeon to one of the people standing below. It was learnt that the bird was placed on a wall after which it was set free.
