AMAZING - World biggest Santa made with sand and ten thousand plastic bottles

On Christmas Eve, international sand artist Sudarsan Pattnaik has created an artwork of Santa Claus on the sand keeping in focus an environmental issue. The World record attempt is made with plastic bottles trying to spread the awareness of plastic pollution.

Plastic pollution is one of the major problems the Earth is currently facing. Last year, the sand arts created the "world's biggest" sand Santa face with the message "World Peace" on the Puri beach of Odisha on Christmas Eve. With an aim to enter the Limca Book of World record, the sand art was of 25 feet high and 50 feet wide. A sand sculpture of Jesus Christ was also created in front of it using 600 tonnes of sand.
Pattnaik often creates different sand art marking various festivals and occasions. He also tries to spread various social messages including environmental issues through his artworks.
