Bumbling crane driver tries to pull down three-storey building, structure comes crashing on him
In an incident, a multi-storey building fell on an excavator crane while it was being demolished in Rudrapur, Nepal.
In the video captured by a resident, an excavator crane can be seen stationed on the road as its arms can be seen stretched to the second floor of the building.
The excavator tries nudging the base of the floor in order to push it back but the entire building falls on the crane due to the weight shift.
As soon as the building comes crashing down on the crane, the debris can be seen flying in the air as the entire environment turns dusty.
The people can be heard shouting and running backwards in order to avoid being engulfed by the cloud of dust.
The crane driver suffered injuries and was rushed to the hospital by the people as soon as the dust cloud subsided within minutes.
It is not yet known whether the crane driver survived or succumbed to his injuries after being admitted to the hospital.
The authorities said that the building was being demolished as a part of renovation.
