Kids do the darnedest things: Toddler gets its head stuck in a pot after trying it on for fun
An Indian toddler had to be rescued by the villagers after he got his head stuck inside metal kitchenware.
The mischievous two-year-old in the north-central state of Bihar, India was playing with the pot at home when he places it on his head.
However, he was unable to remove it and started crying out loud, prompting his mother who came to check on him and called in her neighbours to help her.
The women in the village sat around the mourning baby trying as hard as they could to softly remove the vessel without hurting the boy.
After the child’s grandmother tried and failed to pull it out, another man stepped in to help. They told him to try and tilt it in a different angle and then try pulling it. But the boy only cried louder writhing in pain.
Another old man offered to help and said, “Let’s try greasing the rim of the vessel, so it can come out easily.” He was doing his initial examination when a smiling young man stepped in offering a helping hand.
He pulled it from the backside of the boy’s head, unlike others who only tried to pull it from the front. In the video, the worried mother frantically shouts, “It’s hurting him.”
But the young man consoles her and is heard saying, “Don’t worry I have everything under control, he will not be hurt”.
Luckily, the pot came out in ease as though the rescuer had cast a magical spell on the vessel.
The video ends as the thankful mother cuddles her baby and comforts him. She thanked the villagers who helped her in time of her need.
