Rescue efforts continue to save the lives of dozens of miners buried after a landslide collapsed an illegal mine in Indonesia’s North Sulawesi province.

Aftermath footage shows emergency personnel evacuating one of the victims on the day of the collapse (February 26).

Footage from today (February 27) shows a group of rescuers carrying a body wrapped in plastic on a stretcher.

Indonesia’s National Disaster Management Agency (BNPB) confirmed that 26 people have been rescued.

The death toll rose to six and about three dozen remain buried pending rescue.
