Snake Catcher Gets Python Wrapped Round Body
A snake catcher found himself in a squeeze after a giant python wrapped itself around his body. Phinyo Pukphinyo, 49, was called out after receiving reports of the 12ft long wild reptile terrifying walkers on a nature trail on the outskirts of Bangkok, Thailand. The fireman made light work of getting hold of the python's head. But while he was kneeling down, the serpent wrapped its powerful body around Phinyo's torso, attempting to suffocate him. Luckily for Phinyo, he was able to muster the strength to free himself. Speaking after, he said: ''This shows how powerful pythons can be. They can coil around their victim very quickly and use all their strength to squeeze them.''
