Python tangled up in fence rescued in Thailand
A python was rescued after getting tangled up in a fence in Thailand.
Tara Phoyoi, 44, was walking in his backyard in Ang Thong province when he saw the snake snarled in a mess of netting and vines on November 28.
Shocked Tara called the emergency servives and a team of snake wranglers arrived to free the 12ft-long reptile tangled in the fence.
They cleared the surroundings before using scissors to cut the net and vines that were wrapped around the python’s body.
After freeing the snake, they placed it into a fertiliser sack to later release it to the wild.
Tara said: ‘I think the python was trying to eat the chickens in my backyard. It was probably stuck in the net for days as there were marks on its body.’
