Man in Critical Condition After Being Hit by DUI Driver
BUENA PARK (CNS) - A 28-year-old man was hospitalized tonight in grave
condition with injuries he suffered from being struck by a vehicle in Buena
Park and the driver of the vehicle was arrested on suspicion of drunken
driving.
Police responded to the 7900 block of Artesia Boulevard near Marshall
Avenue about 9:20 p.m. and located the man down, suffering from major injuries,
according to Sgt. J. Shaddow of the Buena Park Police Department.
The injured man was taken to a hospital in grave condition, Shaddow said.
The driver stayed at the scene and was arrested on suspicion of DUI,
he said.
An investigation into the crash was underway. Drivers were asked to
avoid the area until at least 2 a.m.
