Terrified people jumped from a first-floor window to escape a fire bursting out of a car repair store in eastern China.

In the video, filmed in Lixin county in Anhui province on July 10, thick black smoke can be seen pouring out of a burning car repair store.

Four people can be seen jumping out of the first-floor window one-by-one to escape.

According to reports, the car repair shop on the ground floor broke into flames and a mother with her three children sleeping upstairs became trapped.

Since the only exit was blocked by the massive flames on the ground floor, the mum and her children jumped out from the first floor to escape.

Fortunately, no one was injured. According to the preliminary investigation, the fire was caused by a circuit failure.
