Strange fish leaps from water after being teased by stunned local
This is the hilarious moment a strange fish leapt out of the water, terrifying a man who was teasing it.
The bizarre fish was seen lurking in the mud while gazing up at the surface in Bangkok, Thailand yesterday (August 25) afternoon.
Wirawat Jitsuwan, 31, noticed the bizarre creature and began talking to it as he passed the pond near his house.
The playful resident then pointed his finger at the snakehead fish, telling him to stop staring if he did not want to get into trouble.
He is heard in the video saying: ''Do you wanna get into trouble? Do you have a problem? What are you looking at?"
Wirawat then jokingly threw a leaf at the fish - but recoiled in fright when it jumped towards him and grabbed the leaf in its mouth.
The snakehead fish immediately sunk back into the depths and disappeared into the muddy water, leaving the man stunned and puzzled by the incident.
Wirawat said: ''The fish likes to float by the edge of the water and look at me and everyone who is passing by. I really don't know what he is looking at.
''So I talked to him and threw a small leaf just to play with him, but I didn't imagine he could jump that high and catch the leaf, just like one of those dolphins in the zoo.''
