A 10ft long python is caught after raiding a coop and eating three chickens.

Farmer Trongsak Samranrit, 52, called the emergency services after finding the snake curled up in the corner of the pen in Trang, southern Thailand, on August 27.

The reptile was dragged out into the open. It had three noticeable bulges in its tummy.

Trongsak said: ''There were eight chickens but now there are only five. I've never encountered a snake in this area before so I'm quite shocked.'' The python was allowed to keep the food and was then released back into the wild several miles away.
