An old man ignores weather warnings and enjoys a 'slip and slide' on a wet alleyway in the Philippines during a typhoon.

Footage shows the old man and his neighbours having a good laugh under the pouring rain. It was filmed on a slippy side street in Marikina City on September 27.

The tiled alleys at the city became notorious for their construction for being dangerously slippery, especially during the rainy typhoon seasons.

Marikina City 1st District Representative Bayani Fernando said that the tiles were supposed to be non-slip tiles, which are regular tiles usually present in kitchens and bathrooms.

He said: "Those tiles are even imported from China, specifically made for exterior designs. I am wondering why a lot of people claim they slipped. The project is supposed to teach our constituents about cleanliness."
