A thief climbed onto a moving train in northern India to snatch the handbag of a female passenger, before leaping off in just the span of a few seconds.

The thief, identified as a man named Danish, 24, boarded the moving Shatabdi Express on September 23, which had just left from New Delhi railway station for Bhopal.

The robbed lady, Alam Khan, is an inspector for the railway department. She can be seen coming out of the coach along with one of the staff members after Danish made his escape.

The accused man has since been arrested by the Railway Protection Force. The entire incident was caught in the CCTV camera of the train. According to police the thief has a previous record of similar crimes.

A thief snatched the handbag of a woman passenger named Alam Khan in a moving train on 23rd September around 6 am in morning. The thief named Danish (24years) board the moving Shatabdi express which just left from New Delhi railway station for Bhopal ,Danish snatched the handbag and jumped down from a moving train in 10 seconds .. The lady Alam Khan is a Inspector in railway department and was travelling in coach number C4 of Bhopal Shatabdi express. In video it can be seen after snatching the bag he rushes out of the coach and jumps on to the railway track. The woman is seen coming out of the coach along with one of the staff members.
The accused man has been arrested by the Railway Protection Force (RPF). The entire incident was caught in the CCTV camera of the train. According to police the thief has past records also to commit such type of crimes.
