A calf that was trapped in a 60-foot-deep dry well has been rescued in southern India.

As the cows were grazing in nearby, the playful calf was jumping around when suddenly it fell into the dry well.

The villagers called the fire service who came and tied the rope to the calf and the rescued it, so it won’t feel pain. Later it was taken to the nearby vet hospital for the treatment of its broken leg.

Calf that was trapped inside the well has been rescued finally in trichy District of Tamilnadu.

Thangapandiyan a daily wage agro labour was having a couple of cows and he took his cows for grazing in a nearby land. As the cows were grazing the the playful calf was jumping here and there then it suddenly fell into the 60 feet deep dry well. Thangapandiyan tried to rescue the calf but his efforts went in vain as the calf was injured in its leg.

Then the villagers called the fire service personnel they came and they tied the rope to the calf and the rescued the calf in such a way as it doesn't feel the pain. Later it was taken to the nearby vet hospital for the treatment of the broken leg.
