The moment of bravery shown by a railway officer as he saves the life of a passenger who got stuck between the train and platform in western India.

The incident took place on December 15 in Vadodara, Gujarat.

Visuals show a train departing from the station as a passenger are seen boarding and deboarding it.

A man is then seen trying to imitate other passengers and board the moving train, as he waits for the right opportunity.

When finding the chance, he tries to board the train only to slip and fall in the space between the train and the platform.

Luckily, a constable on duty rushes to him and saves him from falling underneath the train, thus preserving his life.

According to reports, the constable on duty, Gopal Meena, rushed to the man upon noticing the fall to save his life.

The constable was then well appreciated for his prompt action by the public.
