Police constable shows alertness, saves man who fell off while boarding moving train in central India
A police constable showed incredible alertness to save the life of a man, who slipped and fell while trying to board a moving train in central India's Madhya Pradesh.
The incident happened in the Bhopal station on August 28.
CCTV footage captured the whole incident where the passenger, later identified as Gopal, rushed in to board the moving train.
The constable, named JP Katare, who was patrolling the platform, instantly rushed to Gopal's rescue after the latter lost his balance while getting on the moving train. He fell down on the platform and Katare picked him up, preventing an accident from happening.
Later, he got up and was seen being taken away by the constable.
