An adorable family of stray wild boars have set up home by the roadside - holding up traffic as they saunter in front of cars.

Footage shows several of the clan, believed to be more than 25, along the street near the Koh Tao pier in Chumphon, southern Thailand.

Pensioner Wirat Chaithongkhum, 56, said most of them were offspring from a boar owned by his late brother. The animals have since spilled out into bushes and began living independently.

Wirat said: "My brother owned the adult male but after he passed away I took care of them and their offspring.

"I raised them here for over 10 years but there are so many of them, that they have moved out of our garden and live on their own.''
